Approximately 50–70 years old, this hand-knotted Persian rug uses wool over a cotton foundation and is defined by a medallion composition.

The field is centered on a distinct medallion, with the surrounding border creating a structured frame around the main composition.

In the main image, the palette reads as soft beige with muted rust accents, accompanied by a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The reduced contrast between field, motifs and border creates a calm vintage surface rather than the crisp look of a newly woven carpet.
