This beige vintage Anatolian rug combines an Oriental medallion layout with the subtle irregularity of authentic hand-knotted village weaving. Woven approximately 40–50 years ago by local village weavers in Anatolia, the rug belongs to a tradition of carpets made for real household use. The wool surface, cotton foundation and hand-built pattern reflect a practical form of craftsmanship in which no two pieces were exactly alike.

An oriental medallion layout remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting.

At approximately 210 x 287 cm, its medium-to-large scale can anchor a living room seating group, bedroom or dining area; placing at least the front furniture legs on the rug helps connect the arrangement.
