Dating to approximately 40–50 years ago, this Turkish vintage rug is hand-knotted in wool on cotton and organized around an Oriental design.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. Traditional Oriental patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with ochre undertones, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.
