7x11 Hand-Knotted Turkish Vintage Rug - 50823

This one-of-a-kind medallion Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.

From the main image, warm beige with gold undertones is the dominant color impression, accompanied by a softly faded pattern. The aged surface keeps small irregularities and tonal shifts visible across the field and border.
