Dating to approximately 40–50 years ago, this Turkish vintage rug is hand-knotted in wool on cotton and organized around a medallion design.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.
