The wool pile and cotton foundation, together with the traditional Turkish double-knot technique, give it the durable construction and subtle irregularity expected from genuine village carpets.

A floral medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting.
