7x10 Hand-Knotted Turkish Vintage Rug - 50814

This one-of-a-kind Oriental Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. Traditional Oriental patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

The photographed surface shows red with muted rust accents, together with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. Subtle tonal variation across the field is part of the vintage character and makes this piece visually distinct from machine-made reproductions.

The actual size is approximately 212 x 307 cm, corresponding to the marketed 7x10 format. It can work as a stand-alone area rug or as a layered vintage element in living, dining or bedroom settings.
