This one-of-a-kind medallion Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.

From the main image, soft beige with muted rust accents is the dominant color impression, accompanied by a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The aged surface keeps small irregularities and tonal shifts visible across the field and border.
