Woven by hand in Turkey approximately 40–50 years ago, this vintage wool rug preserves an Oriental layout and the individuality of traditional knotting.

Its professionally washed, lower-pile surface produces the distressed look associated with these washed vintage Turkish carpets. Traditional Oriental patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

Visually, the rug presents warm beige with ochre undertones and a softly faded pattern. The softened transition between field and border gives the piece a calm, naturally aged appearance rather than a sharply new finish.
