Hand-knotted in Turkey around 40–50 years ago, this one-of-a-kind Oriental vintage rug combines wool pile, cotton foundation and traditional workmanship.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. Traditional Oriental patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

The photographed surface shows warm beige with ochre undertones, together with a gently faded but readable pattern. Subtle tonal variation across the field is part of the vintage character and makes this piece visually distinct from machine-made reproductions.

Measuring approximately 210 x 295 cm, this 7x10 rug has a practical rectangular scale for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas or a collected home office. Leaving a little floor exposed around the edges helps the vintage pattern read clearly.
