7x10 Beige Turkish Vintage Area Rug - 46093

This one-of-a-kind medallion Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with gold undertones, with a softly faded pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.

At approximately 200 x 300 cm, the 7x10 format works well as an area rug in a living room, bedroom or dining space where some surrounding floor can remain visible. Its subdued surface pairs easily with wood, linen, leather and other natural materials.
