After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. Geometric motifs repeat across the field without a dominant center, giving the rug a continuous all-over structure.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with ochre undertones, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.
