7x10 Beige Turkish Vintage Area Rug - 38867

This one-of-a-kind all-over Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. The field is organized as an all-over composition rather than around a single central device, keeping the pattern visually continuous.

Visually, the rug presents warm beige with ochre undertones and a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The softened transition between field and border gives the piece a calm, naturally aged appearance rather than a sharply new finish.

At approximately 207 x 297 cm, the 7x10 format works well as an area rug in a living room, bedroom or dining space where some surrounding floor can remain visible. Its subdued surface pairs easily with wood, linen, leather and other natural materials.
