Hand-knotted in Turkey around 40–50 years ago, this one-of-a-kind all-over vintage rug combines wool pile, cotton foundation and traditional workmanship.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. The field is organized as an all-over composition rather than around a single central device, keeping the pattern visually continuous.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with gold undertones, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.

At approximately 181 x 294 cm, the 6x10 format works well as an area rug in a living room, bedroom or dining space where some surrounding floor can remain visible. Its subdued surface pairs easily with wood, linen, leather and other natural materials.
