An Oriental medallion composition gives this beige Anatolian vintage rug a formal center while preserving its hand-knotted individuality. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in rural Anatolia, this is an original hand-knotted carpet rather than a modern reproduction. Its wool-and-cotton construction and traditional double-knot structure preserve the tactile character, strength and slight asymmetry of authentic village weaving.

An oriental medallion layout remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has an earthy, light-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 152 x 200 cm, its versatile proportions suit bedrooms, compact living rooms, reading areas and smaller dining spaces, especially when some surrounding flooring is left visible.
