An Oriental composition gives this beige vintage Anatolian rug its traditional decorative structure and authentic hand-knotted character. Hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago in an Anatolian village, it was made for everyday household use rather than standardized commercial production. The wool pile and cotton foundation, together with the traditional Turkish double-knot technique, give it the durable construction and subtle irregularity expected from genuine village carpets.

Traditional oriental motifs remain the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting.

At approximately 148 x 316 cm, its medium-to-large scale can anchor a living room seating group, bedroom or dining area; placing at least the front furniture legs on the rug helps connect the arrangement.
