5x9 Beige Turkish Vintage Area Rug - 37887

Woven by hand in Turkey approximately 40–50 years ago, this vintage wool rug preserves a traditional layout and the individuality of traditional knotting.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. Traditional patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

The photographed surface shows soft beige with muted rust accents, together with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. Subtle tonal variation across the field is part of the vintage character and makes this piece visually distinct from machine-made reproductions.

At approximately 165 x 288 cm, the 5x9 format works well as an area rug in a living room, bedroom or dining space where some surrounding floor can remain visible. Its subdued surface pairs easily with wood, linen, leather and other natural materials.
