Hand-knotted in Turkey around 40–50 years ago, this one-of-a-kind traditional vintage rug combines wool pile, cotton foundation and traditional workmanship.

After professional washing and careful shearing, the wool surface reads softer and more subdued than a full-pile traditional carpet. Traditional patterning remains visible across the field and border, softened by age and the lower-pile vintage surface.

In the main image, the palette reads as soft beige with muted rust accents, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.
