This one-of-a-kind medallion Turkish vintage rug was hand-knotted approximately 40–50 years ago, using a wool pile over a cotton foundation.

Professional washing and careful pile reduction give the surface its worn, low-profile vintage finish while leaving the original drawing legible. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.

Visually, the rug presents warm beige with ochre undertones and a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The softened transition between field and border gives the piece a calm, naturally aged appearance rather than a sharply new finish.
