Oriental patterning defines this beige vintage Anatolian rug while preserving the individual character of authentic hand-knotted weaving. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in an Anatolian village, the rug reflects a period when carpets were commonly woven by local families for everyday domestic use. Its hand-knotted wool surface and cotton foundation preserve the practical strength and natural irregularity of authentic village weaving.

The rug follows a traditional Oriental composition with balanced field ornament and a defined border system. Its layered patterning gives the surface visual depth while preserving the individual irregularities expected from a genuine hand-knotted village carpet. Visually, the rug has a softly muted, light-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

Measuring approximately 156 x 230 cm, its medium-to-large proportions make it well suited to a living room seating group, bedroom or dining area. In a living room, placing at least the front legs of the furniture on the rug helps connect the seating arrangement and gives the vintage pattern a stronger architectural role. Natural wood, linen, leather and simple upholstery pair especially well with its handmade vintage character, while leaving some surrounding floor visible can help the pattern feel collected rather than overly formal.

This rug has been professionally washed, is in excellent condition, and is ready to use.
