Built around a geometric prayer design, this beige Anatolian vintage rug preserves the distinctive character of village hand-knotting. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in rural Anatolia, this is an original hand-knotted carpet rather than a modern reproduction. Its wool-and-cotton construction and traditional double-knot structure preserve the tactile character, strength and slight asymmetry of authentic village weaving.

A geometric prayer design remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has an earthy, light-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 115 x 202 cm, its narrow rectangular format works naturally in smaller living areas, bedrooms, home offices or beside a dining table, where it adds pattern without occupying the entire floor. The rug can act as a focal point in a quiet interior or as a textural foundation in a more collected room.
