A central medallion gives this beige vintage Anatolian rug its main visual anchor within the irregular character of village hand-knotting. Woven approximately 40–50 years ago by local village weavers in Anatolia, the rug belongs to a tradition of carpets made for real household use. The wool surface, cotton foundation and hand-built pattern reflect a practical form of craftsmanship in which no two pieces were exactly alike.

A central medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has an earthy, mid-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 124 x 190 cm, its narrow rectangular format works naturally in smaller living areas, bedrooms, home offices or beside a dining table, where it adds pattern without occupying the entire floor. For a more contemporary setting, pair it with simple upholstery, warm wood tones and restrained accessories; in a traditional room, it can sit comfortably alongside antique furniture and layered textiles. Small variations in line, border alignment and motif scale are part of its authenticity and help distinguish it from a newly manufactured rug.

This rug has been professionally washed, is in excellent condition, and is ready to use.
