An Oriental medallion composition gives this beige Anatolian vintage rug a formal center while preserving its hand-knotted individuality. Dating from approximately 40–50 years ago, this rug was hand-knotted in an Anatolian village using the traditional Turkish double-knot method. It was produced as a functional household textile, so subtle changes in line, spacing and motif placement remain visible as evidence of individual craftsmanship.

The composition is organized around a central medallion that clearly anchors the field. Supporting motifs and borders reinforce that center, giving the rug a balanced traditional layout while the small irregularities of hand-knotting keep the design from feeling mechanically perfect. Visually, the rug has an earthy, mid-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

Measuring approximately 122 x 243 cm, its narrower rectangular proportions work well in smaller living areas, bedrooms, home offices or beside a dining table. It can also be layered over a larger neutral rug when a room needs a stronger vintage focal point. Natural wood, linen, leather and simple upholstery pair especially well with its handmade vintage character, while leaving some surrounding floor visible can help the pattern feel collected rather than overly formal.

This rug has been professionally washed, is in excellent condition, and is ready to use.
