3x6 Hand-Knotted Anatolian Rug - 49972

This beige Anatolian vintage rug is organized around a medallion, with subtle irregularities that reflect authentic hand-knotted weaving. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in rural Anatolia, this is an original hand-knotted carpet rather than a modern reproduction. Its wool-and-cotton construction and traditional double-knot structure preserve the tactile character, strength and slight asymmetry of authentic village weaving.

A central medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has an earthy, mid-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 100 x 178 cm, its narrow rectangular format works naturally in smaller living areas, bedrooms, home offices or beside a dining table, where it adds pattern without occupying the entire floor. The rug can act as a focal point in a quiet interior or as a textural foundation in a more collected room.
