The central medallion of this beige Anatolian vintage rug provides a clear focal point while retaining its hand-knotted village character. Dating from approximately 40–50 years ago, the rug was woven in an Anatolian village using the traditional Turkish double-knot method. It was created as a practical domestic textile, so small changes in motif placement, knot density and proportion remain visible as natural evidence of individual craftsmanship.

A central medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has an earthy, mid-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 100 x 180 cm, its narrow rectangular format works naturally in smaller living areas, bedrooms, home offices or beside a dining table, where it adds pattern without occupying the entire floor. The rug can act as a focal point in a quiet interior or as a textural foundation in a more collected room. Simple furniture and natural finishes give the hand-knotted pattern enough visual space to stand out. Small variations in line, border alignment and motif scale are part of its authenticity and help distinguish it from a newly manufactured rug.

This rug has been professionally washed, is in excellent condition, and is ready to use.
