This handmade dhurrie kilim rug combines a softened, understated palette with lighter passages keeping the surface open and airy. The flatweave surface gives the design a clear, textile-led character and allows the pattern to be read easily across the full composition. Repeating geometric motifs travel across the full field, creating an all-over rhythm with no single dominant center. Small shifts in line, spacing and color are part of the handmade weave and give the pattern a more organic, collected character.
Wool and cotton are handwoven into a traditional dhurrie-style flatweave, giving the rug both structure and natural texture. The woven surface has enough body to define a room while remaining visually light compared with a thick piled rug. Subtle irregularities in the weave preserve the character of genuine handcraft.
The straightforward flatweave construction allows the rug to move easily between traditional and modern settings. Against simple furniture, the woven pattern becomes more graphic; in a layered room, it contributes color and texture without competing with artwork, textiles or architectural details.
The rug has been professionally washed, all necessary maintenance has been completed, and it is clean and ready to use. It is offered in excellent condition, so the color, pattern and handwoven texture can be enjoyed immediately without additional preparation. This is a one-of-a-kind handmade flatweave for interiors that value natural materials, visible craftsmanship and a rug with its own visual identity. The dhurrie structure keeps it versatile, while the design gives the space a memorable decorative layer.
