This one-of-a-kind Persian rug is approximately 50–70 years old, hand-knotted in wool on cotton and visually centered on a medallion composition. A medallion layout defines the composition and separates this piece from other rugs in the same collection.
A central medallion organizes the field and gives the composition a clear focal point, while the border provides a defined outer frame.
From the main image, soft beige and muted earth tones are the dominant color impression, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. Small changes in color strength across the composition reinforce the rug’s handmade and naturally aged identity.
At approximately 298 x 383 cm, this 10x13 Persian rug can sit beneath the front legs of a seating group, define a bedroom zone or add pattern beneath a dining arrangement, depending on the room scale. The traditional wool-on-cotton build provides stability beneath the rug, while the aged pile gives the pattern a softer, more collected appearance.
The weave retains small irregularities in shape and tone that are typical of an older handmade Persian rug. The balance of hand-knotted texture, aged color and surviving pattern gives the rug a collected appearance that is difficult to reproduce artificially.
Professionally washed and in excellent condition, this one-of-a-kind vintage Persian rug is ready to use.
