This one-of-a-kind Persian rug is approximately 50–70 years old, hand-knotted in wool on cotton and visually centered on a medallion composition. Its medallion composition gives the piece a distinct identity within the wider Persian rug tradition.
A medallion-centered layout directs attention toward the middle of the rug, while the border gives the overall design a formal frame.
In the main image, soft beige and muted earth tones create a quiet palette around a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. Variation in color strength and motif definition remains visible across the surface, adding to the individuality of the rug.
At approximately 314 x 387 cm, this 10x13 Persian rug can sit beneath the front legs of a seating group, define a bedroom zone or add pattern beneath a dining arrangement, depending on the room scale. The wool-on-cotton construction gives the rug a stable foundation while the softened pile keeps the pattern visually relaxed and easy to integrate.
Slight variation in line and color is consistent with traditional hand-knotting and reinforces the one-of-a-kind character of the rug. The surviving motif structure and naturally softened pile give the rug enough presence to work as a focal piece while still supporting a layered interior.
Professionally washed and in excellent condition, this one-of-a-kind vintage Persian rug is ready to use.
