The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. A central medallion organizes the field, giving the composition a clear focal point without losing the irregularity of hand work.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with ochre undertones, with a softly faded pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.
