The central medallion of this beige Anatolian vintage rug provides a clear focal point while retaining its hand-knotted village character. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in rural Anatolia, this is an original hand-knotted carpet rather than a modern reproduction. Its wool-and-cotton construction and traditional double-knot structure preserve the tactile character, strength and slight asymmetry of authentic village weaving.

A central medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting. Visually, the rug has a softly muted, light-toned appearance with low-contrast pattern definition, giving the aged surface natural depth while preserving the clarity of the original design.

At approximately 203 x 312 cm, its medium-to-large scale can anchor a living room seating group, bedroom or dining area; placing at least the front furniture legs on the rug helps connect the arrangement.
