A medallion-centered layout defines this beige vintage Anatolian rug and preserves the individual character of village hand-knotting. Made approximately 40–50 years ago in rural Anatolia, this is an original hand-knotted carpet rather than a modern reproduction. Its wool-and-cotton construction and traditional double-knot structure preserve the tactile character, strength and slight asymmetry of authentic village weaving.

A central medallion remains the main decorative feature, while the surrounding field and border retain the natural irregularity of hand-knotting.

At approximately 210 x 297 cm, its medium-to-large scale can anchor a living room seating group, bedroom or dining area; placing at least the front furniture legs on the rug helps connect the arrangement. The rug can act as a focal point in a quiet interior or as a textural foundation in a more collected room.
