Woven by hand in Turkey approximately 40–50 years ago, this vintage wool rug preserves an all-over layout and the individuality of traditional knotting.

The rug has been professionally washed and carefully sheared to a lower pile, softening the original colors while preserving the underlying pattern. The field is organized as an all-over composition rather than around a single central device, keeping the pattern visually continuous.

In the main image, the palette reads as warm beige with gold undertones, with a heavily softened, low-contrast pattern. The border remains visually connected to the field rather than appearing newly restored, which helps retain the rug’s aged character.
