Oversized Rugs or large area rugs emerged in the market as a result of enlarging living spaces. Living spaceswere smaller in the past. There were a lot of workshops all over Anatolia producing carpets for palaces, royal families’ homes and churches. As the continuation of the same tradition, oversized carpets are still produced in Turkey with the same meticulousness.
